How do you determine if you have a "bogus affiliate"? For starters, if you see more than 2 referrals coming from the same affiliate within a short period of time, monitor those sales and check the IP Address of the customers they refer to you.

If you see that a customer's billing address is in one location (e.g., California, USA), but the IP Address from where the order was placed is in an entirely different location (e.g., Nigeria), then there's a good chance you have a bogus order on your hands. If you proceed to check the other referrals made by this "bogus affiliate", and find those orders are also scrupulous, cancel the orders, refund any monies charged (and collected) and delete this affiliate from your affiliate account immediately.

In this example, or for any other reason you determine, if you feel an affiliate has disobeyed your Affiliate Terms & Conditions or simply no longer desires to be an affiliate for you, you can simply delete them from the system in seconds. It's that easy.
