What are Internet marketing tools?

What's a name squeeze page? Simply, a name squeeze page is a small web page containing an opt-in box that prevents someone from going any further unless they "opt-in" and give you their name, primary eMail address, and any other information you request of them to give you. That's why it's called a "name squeeze" page because it "squeezes" the name and eMail address out of someone before they can view your site, product, offer, etc.

What's the purpose of a name squeeze page?

The purpose of a name squeeze page is to build a list and generate leads, which hopefully, you can turn into sales! No leads means no sales! Lots of leads could equal lots of sales. The larger your list grows, the more money you could possibly make selling products, services, coaching, seminars and more!

You might notice a big jump in the number of signups with a name squeeze page as soon as you put it up versus not having one at all. Just having a simple opt-in box on your home page doesn't always improve signups like a name squeeze page does. Try it for a week or two and see what results you experience. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Where would you use name squeeze pages?

Again, name squeeze pages are placed before (or in front of) web sites, web pages and landing pages where you plan on selling something, sharing information, making special offers, etc.

Tele-Seminar Registration Pages — Often times, tele-seminar pages that are use to register those who would like to be on the call as a guest/listener, register on what might be considered a "name squeeze page". Why? For starters, several tele-seminars are free to listen in on. You just need to give the tele-seminar host your name and eMail address to get access to the call. That sounds like a name squeeze page to me, doesn't it? Sure it does …
eClass / Micro-Continuity ProgramsMaybe you're offering an online course, in which you want to offer the first few lessons for free in exchange for the prospective student's name and eMail address. That too, sounds like a name squeeze page to me.
Special Offers — Maybe you're making a special offer and you'd just like to gather the names and eMail addresses of those interested in learning more about your special offer. That too, is a name squeeze page.
