What are some good tips for printing shipping labels in general?

Whenever you print shipping labels of any kind, here are some tips:

PRINT A TEST PAGE — Don't waste your valuable labels on a print job that ended up outside the margin for whatever size labels you intended on printing. Instead, print a single page of labels on a blank sheet of paper. Then, hold that test print out behind a single, blank sheet of labels to a bright light. You should be able to see your labels (printed on the blank sheet of paper) through the blank sheet of labels. Check the margines (or edges) of each blank label. Does every label look aligned properly to print on a sheet of labels? If so, great! If not, make the necessary adjustments and print a single sheet of test tables again on another blank piece of paper and repeat this test.

Now, it's much easier to print from page 5 of 25 sheets of labels from a PDF document than it is to painstakingly go back into the system to generate your labels all over again.
SAVE YOUR LABELS IN YOUR COMPUTER — That said above, save your PDF file to your computer and label the file something like this: shipping-labels-my-customers-date.pdf. Why? What if you want to send a mailing out to your customers again sometime in the near future? All you have to do is open up this PDF file and bam! Print away!
