What's a webinar or eClass?

Actually, they're almost one-in-the-same! Here's a quick definition of each:

Webinar — A live "seminar" on the "web", which utilizes Internet software technology allowing your webinar attendees to see your computer desktop for training purposes. Webinars also utilize eMail, chat window and telephone technologies to deliver the webinar training experience to those attending the webinar online. Webinars can be recorded and delivered electronically at a later date without you being present.

eClass — a "class" that is delivered 'electronically" online to those who wish to learn what you have to teach. eClasses can either be held live online (much like webinars) or be pre-designed to be delivered to the student to learn on their own time without requiring you, the trainer, to be present. Today's technology takes care of everything.

Also, webinars and eClasses are both training activities that also fall under a category of education called "distance learning" or "e-learning" or "online learning." Like video, online learning is huge and quite profitable if you have something to teach others and you know how to sell it online through your web site using MyMarketingCart.com.

What do you need your shopping cart to do to sell webinars/eClasses?

Much like selling seminars and tele-seminars, all you need is a shopping cart system like MyMarketingCart.com. Because, in addition to collecting payments from people who wish to attend your webinar or eClass training event, you also need a shopping cart system that will perform all of the following functions to ensure your marketing efforts pay off when it comes to promoting your webinar and/or eClass event. You'll need to …

Limit the number of people who can register for your webinar or eClass in the event you want to limit the number of learning participants. This is done by setting the "Inventory" digit to the number of people you want to allow to register.
Easily turn on/off the "Early Bird" or "Sale" price status to purchasing attendance to your webinar/eClass event. With the click of the mouse, you can turn on/off the sale price for any online training so any future payments by those who want to attend your event pay the full price.
Automatically send out paid-attendance instructions via eMail to people who pay to attend your event. This eMail might contain webinar access code information, call-in information, PIN#s, time/date, membership site access information, any other kind, order/registration numbers or any other information related to the online learning event you only want "paid participants" to have.

This is done when you assign a specific autoresponder to a specific webinar or eClass training product in the shopping cart. Simply create the autoresponder first, then add the webinar/eClass product to the cart. Assign the autoresponder you just created to the product you just added and bam! You're done. Insert the information you want people to receive when they pay to attend your online training event in the autoresponder you just created and you're done.
Create discount coupon codes for you (and your affiliates) to use to encourage people to sign up "now" and not "later" for your online training event. You can program these coupons to expire within x-number of days prior to your online training event taking place, again to encourage people to "act fast" when it comes to purchasing attendance to your webinar and/or eClass.
Offer payment options to those who cannot afford to pay the lump sum to attend your online training event, but would rather pay in partial payments you set up for them. (i.e., weekly, monthly, 3 easy payments of …) This is done through the "recurring billing" option inside your account when you add the online training event product to the cart.
Be able to eMail your registrants any special eMail message using motivate the built-in eMail broadcasting software available inside your shopping cart. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to send an eMail, not only those who registered, but those who DIDN'T register YET to remind them to take advantage of any special discount before they expire? Of course, it would!
Offer an Affiliate program to motivate others to promote your online training event to their own list, allowing them to earn a commission when someone on their list decides to attend your webinar and/or eClass and pay your registration fee.

MyMarketingCart.com provides all of these abilities (and much more) when it comes to helping you sell webinars, eClasses and other online training events from your web site. Now, here's how to set up much of what I just discussed above.
